First Baptist Christian School is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that relies completely on funds raised by tuition and donors to fully fund and support the operating expenses of the school. Everything from books, supplies, computers, filing cabinets, classroom visual aides, copy machines, and copy paper all the way to teacher salaries are funded by private funds.
This is why it is so vital to FBCS's mission of glorifying God through Christ-centered education to have fundraisers and to rely on generous donors. Last year, donors, sponsors, and Gala event-goers funded a brand new playground, which now serves as both a school and a community playground on the FBCS Campus. Also, Gala support provided much needed scholarships to students for the 2017-2018 school year.
This year, your support will help to fund new computers for our computer lab and once again add to the Scholarship fund for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year. In keeping with the school's accredited curriculum, FBCS added a STEM instructor to the roster and is now on a mission to upgrade the current, out-dated computer lab to a state of the art STEM lab. FBCS, as a tuition based school that encourages families to join in order to spread God's Good Word and encourage a new generation to go out and do likewise, provides Scholarships as often as necessary to keep spreading the Word to families that might not be able to afford full tuition costs.
Please consider becoming a part of the FBCS family by becoming a Gala Sponsor or auction item donor. Your generosity will help to ensure that FBCS can continue to glorify God through Christ-centered education.
