Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF)
The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) is a ministry of First Baptist Christian School with our main objective to enhance the relationship between the school, teachers, and parents. Its other function is to provide opportunities for parent service in support of school programs. The PTF also raises funds in order to more practically meet the needs of both teachers and students.
The PTF is actively seeking Student Parents and Grandparents alike to help coordinate the many exciting activities and fundraisers that are planned for the academic year as well as assistance in the classrooms and in the administrative office. If we each do a little, we can do a whole lot for our school! Join us in reaching our goal of having every parent volunteer at least 3 hours of their time during an academic year. Visit our Three for Me page to learn more.
Studies have shown that when parents and families are involved, students achieve at higher levels, have better attendance, and exhibit a positive attitude toward school. It promises to be worth your while to volunteer!
